Shaky Defence Worries Manager

In a game which Cardiff won, team manager Leon Ng wasn't too happy with the performance of his team's defence. The team has leaked 8 goals this month and scored 13 goals. This is a worrying sign as Cardiff would look to the transfer market in January to further reinforce their defence.

First defeat for Cardiff in League Cup

After causing an upset in the previous round against Newcastle, Cardiff could do nothing about Manchester United's attack as they ran out 2-0 winners. Joe Hart was the keeper for Cardiff as Paddy Kenny was cup-tied after playing for Sheffield United in the competition before moving to Cardiff. In all, this has been a very good run in the League Cup for Cardiff.

September has been a good month for Cardiff who are now first in the league. Also, I have been awarded the Manager of the Month award for an unbeaten month in the league. Can Cardiff bring this form into the next month? We'll find out pretty soon.
Cardiff Leaves It Late

With a series of late goal appearing this month, Cardiff has been saved once again by another late goal from in-form striker, Bogdan Stancu. Having received the ball outside the box, he took a shot from 30 yards and scored with only a minute of regular time left. With this win, Cardiff are in first place and are tipped for promotion this season if they can continue their fine form in the games to come.
