Cardiff City TacticsFor my first post of the career, I shall start by sharing the tactics i use. I took this tactic directly from my successful Manchester United career with no defeats so far in the 10 games I played. It is a 4-5-1 formation which mainly focuses on attacking and the advantage of this formation is the ability to create lots of opportunities and score goals if you have a deadly finisher.

Basically, you can see that I play a flat back four with arrows sending the fullbacks to the midfield when attacking. My midfield consists of 2 AMC, 1 DM and 2 wingers. The midfielder right in the centre plays as a DM while the other two central midfielders play as an attacking midfielder. This ensures enough cover at the back when the fullbacks go up to support the attack.
So, when I attack, it changes from a 4-5-1 to a 2-1-2-2-3 formation.
Here are my team instructions.

As mentioned before, this formation is meant to be attacking and that is why the mentality is set to attacking. DO NOT use ALL OUT ATTACK as the balance would be lost.
The team also plays with a direct passing style and quick tempo to move the ball up faster and launch counter attacks. Also, as the main play is on the wings, when giving the pitch dimensions to your groundsmen, set the maximum width possible.
