Easy Win For Cardiff
Cheltenham was the opponent in Cardiff's League Cup 1st Round game. With Cheltenham playing in a lower league, Cardiff was widely tipped to win and they did so with a 1-4 victory. New signing Barazite from Arsenal scored twice and Nengomashe got his first Cardiff goal. Ledley finished the game off with a goal for himself and Mulligan got a consolation goal for Cheltenham. However, the disturbing defending problem was still around and would need to be solved fast.
